Here are some strategies to help keep your dog’s water bowl cool and refreshing:
- Keep your dog’s bowl in the shade whenever possible.
- Freeze a water bottle and place it in your dog’s bowl. The frozen water bottle acts as a giant ice cube without melting too fast. The mini water bottles are a perfect size.
- Get your dog a clay or ceramic water bowl. These bowls will help keep the water much cooler than steel or plastic.
- Purchase a cooling pet bowl. These special bowls have inserts that you freeze overnight, they will keep your dog’s water fresh and cool for up to eight hours.
