At Fitdog, we pride ourselves on creating a community where dogs of all shapes and sizes can thrive. Each month, we love to highlight a dog who has stood out for their special qualities. For the month of August, we are excited to give a huge shoutout to Dash, our Fitdog of the Month!
At just 3 years old, Dash has already become a staple in our community. With his boundless energy, friendly personality, and love for adventure, it’s no surprise he was nominated by our team.
Dash has been part of the Fitdog family since he was just 6 months old. He first joined our Fun & Fit Agility class, where he quickly showed off his athleticism and eagerness to learn. As he grew, so did his enthusiasm for new challenges. He soon graduated to our Trainer-led Hikes, where he quickly became a natural leader on the trail, confidently guiding the pack with a wagging tail and playful spirit.
More recently, Dash completed our Beach Recall program and has been a regular on our Beach Excursions ever since. Whether he’s sprinting through the surf, chasing tennis balls, or digging enthusiastic craters in the sand, Dash brings joy and energy to every beach day. His recall is solid, his manners are impeccable, and his enthusiasm is contagious.
Dash has never met a person or dog he didn’t like. He’s known for his incredible friendliness and has formed a special bond with his fellow golden retriever buddy, Bill, and his favorite sports leader, Jorge. These friendships just add to his charm — he’s a true social butterfly who makes every outing more fun.
When he’s not on an adventure, Dash is sharpening his skills. He’s an expert at commands like recall, stay, leave-it, sit, and more — a true testament to his dedication and training.
Sweet, playful, and endlessly lovable, Dash is everything we love in a Fitdog. Congratulations, Dash — you make every day brighter!
