Susan Light is a multi-certified Dog Trainer and Podcast Host. She uses a holistic approach to behavior, addressing issues with dogs and their owners through management, enrichment, education, and training. She is passionate about teaching pet parents about canine body language because dogs are always talking but humans aren't good at understanding them! Her passion for education led her to start the Doggy Dojo podcast available wherever you listen to podcasts!
Dogs can't be fixed because they're not broken. They're acting in a way that's totally appropriate based on their experience of the world.

Philosophy
No breed needs a heavy hand. Everything from puppy training to behavior problems should be addressed with positive reinforcement training, enrichment to meet your dog's needs, and management to keep everyone (dogs and humans) safe. Dogs need confidence, agency, and outlets for normal doggie behaviors! A confident, fulfilled, motivated dog will then gladly participate in training.
