Our goal is to continue to provide much needed enrichment and exercise for your dog while maintaining a safe environment for our employees and you. COVID-19 safety rules and procedures are designed to limit interactions between employees and customers and to reduce the transmission of COVID-19.
All employees will be required to wear masks when interacting with customers or inclosed, indoor spaces. We are not sure of how the dogs will react to us in masks, but our hope is that they are not too spooked!
Contact-less pick-up / drop-offs
We will be using our own leashes and gear when picking up dogs from your home and at curb side at the facility.
Only one customer in the lobby at a time. Please stand behind the line (which is 6 feet from the front reception desk). If you buy retail goods, we can manually enter them, so you do not have to approach the desk. You also have the option of self scanning.
Hand Washing / Sanitization
Trainers and leaders are required to carry hand sanitizer on their person at all times. All employees are required to wash their hands between interactions. We also have hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility.
We will not be using gloves as they are not as effective as hand washing and will rip when handling dogs (which makes them ineffective).
As a dog care business, we already have stringent cleaning and sanitization guidelines in place. However, we increased the frequency of sanitization of objects and areas frequently handled by employees and customers (such as door knobs, break room area, computers, etc). Sanitization procedures include office spaces, dog areas and vans.
Our facility is equipped with a high frequency ventilation system that replaces the air every 5 minutes. This is the same standard used in veterinarian clinics to reduce exposure to viruses and disease. However, one benefit of our system is that it brings in fresh, outside air, not recycled air. Fresh air further reduces the spread of disease.
If you or your dog is sick, we request that you do not book services and both of you are encouraged to stay home.
Employees are required to sign in and certified that they are not sick, do not exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms, and have a normal temperature. Every employee has also undergone training for COVID-19 safety protocols and best practices.
